How do I get started?
The entire account creation and investment process is completed online via the OmniVest Capital, LLC website. You will be prompted to provide or verify any required information, as well as make the necessary acknowledgments electronically.
Can I invest through my IRA and 401K?
Yes, you must self-direct as a custodian of the account. We can recommend several companies who can help guide you through that process.
Only accredited investors?
Yes. Our offerings are under Regulation D Rule 506 (c) and are only available to accredited investors.
How do I know if I am an accredited investor?
An individual earns $200,000.00 or a couple earns $300,000.00 a year or you have a net worth of $1,000,000.00 not including your primary residence.
When do I receive a K-1?
Partners in an LLC that purchases real estate receive a K-1. The K-1 is used by partnerships to provide investors with detailed information on their share of a partnership’s taxable income. A K-1 is used to report each investor’s share of the partnership’s income, gains, losses, deductions and credits. Provided on an annual basis, K-1’s are to be included on each investors tax return.
How does a REIT differ from a syndication?
A REIT is a financial instrument and illiquid. Investing in an LLC through OmniVest Capital, LLC, you are investing in real estate.
